Job Purpose:

Inside Sales Engineer position for a person who has an electro-mechanical aptitude. We are looking for someone who can build strong personal relationships, works hard and has the drive to be successful. Working within our company offices, via telephone and email, you must be able to work your way into large and small companies (cold calling), close sales and provide after the sale technical support. Our customers are primarily equipment manufacturers and once a strong relationship is established, repeat business can be expected. He/she must be able to work well with others as well as meet with clients to complete customer-centered projects. We have a superb reputation and are looking for a top performer to expand our customer base and build relationships within those accounts. We place a high value on quality employees. Preferred Experience with:

Proficiency in 3D Modeling/Drafting

Ability to read and interpret technical prints

Experience with liquid level gauging is a plus

Experience with applicable agency standards (UL, CE, CRN, ATEX, etc) is a plus

Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or like ERP system

Training will be given in Salesforce CRM

This position requires attention to detail and professional work habits


This job is performed in a general office environment with standard office equipment available. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to sit and stand. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require moving of product or samples, up to 50 lbs.

The working environment is good. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Off-site travel to trade shows or construction sites may expose you to associated risks.


•4 Year Engineering Degree or Equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)

•Ability to effectively build relationships with customers using all forms of communication

•Willingness to call equipment manufactures to determine if they purchase liquid level sensors

•2-5 years of inside sales and customer or technical service experience.

•Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment and be willing/able to handle a variety of tasks, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to growth and change.

•Exudes enthusiasm, a positive attitude, high energy, self-motivation, and strong work ethic.

•Must have a technical aptitude and/or knowledge of sensor type products

•Reliable and committed to success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Become familiar with product offerings and technical details

•Via Telephone and email, contact potential customers to qualify them

•Build relationships with current/potential customers and demonstrate why our company/products are their best choice for their liquid level sensor requirements

•Provide technical support for customers

•Consult with subject matter experts to analyze products and customer requirements

•Travel Percentage: Limited
